Apply for SCN support for research events or conferences

At the Stem Cell Network (SCN) we believe that collaboration and partnership are essential to driving forward scientific excellence and innovation. We are proud to support partners across the stem cell and regenerative medicine community on their events, meetings, or conferences as we work together to build and share knowledge, foster collaboration and connections, and accelerate regenerative medicine research for the benefit of all.

Thank you for thinking of the Stem Cell Network as a potential sponsorship partner; we welcome your request for support. While most of our decisions on sponsorship are made in January for the year ahead, we do have a limited budget available throughout the year to support events and activities that may have missed our January decision-making cycle.

Requests for support should describe how the event or activity meets the following criteria:

Relevance: The event should be aligned with SCN’s mandate, and relevant to current issues, emerging trends, or significant research areas in stem cells and regenerative medicine.

Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA): The event should demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility in terms of logistics, agenda content, and the composition of the panel of speakers, chairs, and organizing committee.

Recognition: The event should appropriately showcase and elevate SCN’s brand in recognition of the financial support provided.

How to apply:

  • Requests for sponsorship support can be submitted at any time and will be reviewed by SCN management on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Requests should be emailed to Rebecca Cadwalader at rcadwalader@stemcellnetwork.ca
  • SCN management will review the request, and the applicant will be notified of the decision within 30 days of receipt of the application.
